District Map
Basically if you reside in Lafayette Parish and are south of Interstate 10, you are likely to be in the District 3 and can vote in this election. There are some exceptions up near the interstate and around Evangeline Thruway north of Pinhook so click on the link below and enter your exact address to determine your district.
Important Dates
September 13
The deadline to register to vote in person, by mail or at the OMV Office
September 23
The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System
September 30
Early voting is September 30 through October 7
October 10
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 10 by 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.

Gubernatorial Primary Election
On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
